Temperament and Venom: This species is generally docile and slow-moving. It is not prone to biting; instead, it relies on its urticating hairs or retreating into its burrow when threatened. Its venom is considered mild and medically insignificant to humans, making it a suitable choice for hobbyists who prefer a less aggressive pet.
Husbandry: As a terrestrial species, it requires an enclosure with a significant amount of substrate for burrowing. A mix of coco fiber and sand is recommended to mimic its natural environment.
